LogoLounge Book 15 Winners!

This year, on a bit of a whim we entered logos in the LogoLounge Book 15 competition.

We were on hole two at Fox Meadow playing the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament when we got the news that two of our submissions were chosen! Awfully fitting considering one of the submitted logos was a concept created for Fox Meadow by teammates, Tim Rees with art direction from Lewis Read! 👏

Client: Fox Meadow Golf Course

Designer: Tim Rees

Art Director: Lewis Read, Associate RGD

This rejected concept was created for Fox Meadow Golf Course, located in Stratford, Prince Edward Island by Tim Rees. The golf course is well known for the mischievous foxes that live in the area. Stealing golf balls and distracting players is ‘par for the course’ some may say! Our logo designs for this project intended to capture the playful nature of foxes while giving a subtle nod to the sport itself.

Client: Green Willy Brewing Collective

Designer: Ashe Green RGD

Art Director: Ashe Green, RGD

Green Willy Brewing Collective is an award-winning home-brewing group located on the East Coast of Canada. With a penchant for hoppy beers (the hoppier the better) they wanted their identity to better reflect the style of beers they were creating. The name of the collective is made of up it's founders names Jonathan Green and William Panting. The turtle, "Turts" was chosen early in their brewing endeavours, though the exact origin is unknown, due to consuming their own product.

Some of our all-time favourite designers/awesome community members, like Paula Scher, Jack Chitty, and Jacob Cass were on the LogoLounge Judging Panel this year, so it’s exciting to know they laid eyes on our work.

We are pretty proud of our winning entries, and it will be really nice to see them printed in Book 15 when it’s released! 🥳
